Shaped by mentorship from prominent figures including Edward Bernays, the father of modern PR, Ben Barkin, the father of special event marketing, and Perry Belcher, a pioneer recognized as the godfather of digital marketing, Eric has a holistic view of business processes and operations that have been consistently ahead of the curve.
Beginning in the mid-80’s he introduced computerization to Feld Entertainment (Ringling Bros. Circus and Walt Disney’s World on Ice) marketing. In the 90’s, he automated member and tournament management systems, essentially creating the first customer relationship manangement systems for the PGA of America and went on to introduce CRM solutions to the USGA and all state/regional golf associations.
He went on to pioneering club management with the first windows-based solutions in the fitness and golf industries including the creation of the brand Visual ClubMate (a brand that has stood the test of time for over 30 years).
Following a challenging health hiatus, he returned to focus on demystifying technology for businesses, helping thought leaders and small business owners uncover new revenue streams and streamline operations.
Today, his proprietary Megafluence Method™, combines strategic branding, customer insights, systematic processes, and advanced technology integration, guiding business leaders on a clear path through the digital minefield. He began pursuing a career in marketing communications while in high school, starting with Junior Achievement and selling tv ad time, becoming the top salesperson throughout the JA organization globally for three consecutive years. He started his first PR venture upon graduating from High School, with the founder of Manpower International as his first client. His first computer was purchased in 1984, shortly after the PC was made available to the general public.
Eric is recognized for creating the Megafluence Method™ and the Brand Identity Lifecycle™. He pioneered CRM in the golf industry, digitized live event marketing for Feld Entertainment, and now helps thought leaders scale with strategy and automation.
